Wire chopper configuration
- STEP 1 – Shredding – Whole wire and cable is loaded into the shredder hopper and reduced by a CMSHSS-100 single-shaft shredder with a hydraulic pushing ram. Output discharges to a 24″ belt conveyor fitted with a magnetic head pulley, which pulls ferrous contamination before the material reaches the granulator.
- STEP 2 – Granulation – The conveyor feeds a 2031CMSD super-duty granulator, supplied with multiple screens, which liberates metal from insulation. Granulate is drawn off by vacuum.
- STEP 3 – Conveying & Buffering – Blower and cyclone systems, two bucket elevators, and an automatic dosing hopper move and meter material through the plant and feed the separation stage at a controlled rate.
- STEP 4 – Screening & Separation – A counterbalanced vibratory screener sizes the granulate ahead of a CMC4-TO Euroline separation table, which performs the final split of metal from insulation.
- STEP 5 – Dust Control – A cyclone and a cartridge-type dust collector with filter bags serve the line throughout.

The installed main control panel is 480 volts, 3 phase.
Removal Logistics:
The line is currently installed and running. Removal will require de-energizing, disconnection by a licensed electrician, disassembly of overhead ducting, cyclones, and conveyors, and rigging of the two heaviest units (the shredder at approximately 9,500 lbs and the granulator at approximately 10,000 lbs). Rigging, removal, and transport is the buyer’s responsibility.
